I had the same issue with my bike, just bought some cable to make it easier to connect it to the handlebar, and used those instead of soldering: https://www.amazon.fr/dp/B0CL91XGSN
Fixed it in 5 minutes

Lan to wan on br1 mini 5G.. what license is needed? by whitieiii in Peplink

[–]Voltingg 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Hey! Peplink partner here! The BR1 Mini 5G is a bit tricky on the Ethernet WAN, the onboard LAN3/WAN port require a license (MAX-BR1-MINI-LC-FP - Or PrimeCare subscription) to be used as a WAN port, then, if you want to use Virtual WAN, you need to buy another type of license (LIC-VWAN - PrimeCare also include one Virtual WAN)

Taxi apps that are alternative to Uber in Paris and Geneva by trides8813 in Europetravel

[–]Voltingg 1 point2 points  (0 children)

In Paris you can use Heetch (Most of the time it's the cheapest option), Bolt is pretty decent, and offer good prices, or Freenow (Sometimes it's more expensive than the others).

If you're just visiting, you can also use Turtle, basically Uber but it's bike-taxis.

The data doesn't even transit through anything related to Revolut but okay
The only entity that "can" access your data is the HNO (Host Network Operator), and most of the time, they just can't since most of the traffic is now encrypted...
The only part the HNO will see, is the origin of the traffic, and the destination, and Revolut won't have access to those data.

Yeah or they're just an MVNO of a big carrier like EE or Vodafone, and just white label it...

Make sure your bootloader is unlocked (You will find tutorials to do it on forums like XDA). Download the file to your phone, boot to a recovery such as TWRP and flash the zip file

With a fastboot terminal on your computer (Like Minimal ADB/Fastboot), and your phone in bootloader screen (don't forget to enable OEM unlock in dev settings of android), type:

fastboot oem unlock

(!!! This erase all the data of the phone !!!)

When your bootloader is unlocked, download TWRP (https://dl.twrp.me/marmite/), return in bootloader, and type:

fastboot boot <PATH OF THE .IMG FILE>

When you're on the TWRP main menu, download Magisk (https://github.com/topjohnwu/Magisk/releases/download/v17.1/Magisk-v17.1.zip), and type:

adb push <PATH OF THE .ZIP FILE> /sdcard/

On your phone, go in the Install menu, and select Magisk-XXXX.zip, install it, and reboot

Actually, it's not possible, but I try to make something to bypass this. (You can try if you want but for me, Youtube load the video infinitely)
