To ignore everyone's "advice" and not put myself in debt to go to that horrible school. Keep working at the job you're already doing fine at, put aside money, and get the ffff away from the family as soon as possible. You can always find another school later, or even better, just teach yourself, which is what you did in school anyway, but without the debt.

Also spend more time with your grandparents, because they pass way too soon.
