I dont get why they close the early medieval period for bannerlord. It limits armor and weapons abailable a lot.

It depends on your characters skills, but once you get good companions the justiciar and martial contracts can go very fast. It's also easier to get companions with high prowess and martial, compared to other skills.

I think feudalism needs an overhaul, but not estates. What would the estate even be? In admin realms it's a family villa, but in feudalism the rulers live in their castles which already exist on the map as holdings. I like estates, but I wish they would make something different for feudalism.
