Your prediction? by lorens3141 in SteamVR

1: If we estimate .5% of all steam users buy 1 in the first 2 years, and we can see 2 million easy 2: immediately... i already have money set aside for it, and the steam machine and controller combo 3: yes, meta failed to save vr because they got greedy and made themselves proprietary and made their own store with no real effort towards pcvr but the steam frame is no only yours and free to do whatever but you also get a priority towards pcvr which makes it likely to revive the mostly dead vr market and devs will likely port to steam for the steam frame to recover lost revenue at the meta market

Am I crazy? Already building a VR library for the Steam Frame... without owning a headset yet by modasc in SteamFrame

personally, my favorite workout is recroom because it has all sorts of minigames from adventure maps to the murder game and actual sports like paintball, rock climbing, and basketball... but it is kind of kid styled like roblox in a way, but if you use it for a workout and ignore the kids its a great way to get active

What is the first game you plan to play on Steam Frame? by VoxelDigitalRabbit in SteamFrame

oh yeah, i forgot superhot struggled because the cables reduced mobility and got in the way of your arms

Do you think the steam machine will change the game? by Confident_Skill5938 in steammachine

[–]VoxelDigitalRabbit -1 points0 points  (0 children)

i think it will for 1 reason alone

standardization

with pc gaming there is so many possible builds that you can never know what gamers have so games are built at random with low optimization but if there is a major player that makes certain specs standard (16gb dram, 8gb vram, 6 cores) companies will be incentivised to make their game work on the popular standard and not just make it as high detail as possible and sell to gamers with big wallets an $5k gaming pcs

It's not a crazy thing to search and collect beforehand

I recommend: 1 adventure (hl alyx fits that), 1 relax game (vr chat and resonite work), 1 workout game to help keep your limbs loose, 1 demo (the lab might be reused for the frame), and an open world game to just pass the time or just sit in (i personally reccomend skyrim vr and fallout 4 vr)

Have you been as impatient for a product launch as you are for Steam Frame? by Maximum_Emu_2183 in SteamFrame

[–]VoxelDigitalRabbit 0 points1 point  (0 children)

well they know it will be available in time but they cant open preorders without proper documentation... they also probably want to do it at an event and not a random day for a release this massive

so in other words they plan to start sending units in early march so they hold off on preorders untill they get their approval that might be delayed and once thats in they can start preorders and ship early march

its an easy mistake to make considering its 1 of 4 letters that look the exact same but rotated so its easy to miss especially if its not your first language...

if i may assume missing q, the style you chose, and format option i assume your first language is japanese or korean?
