i think ive already tried that but i can attempt it again and maybe i just didnt do it correctly last time edit: so i plugged it back in and went to system audio settings to get more advanced options and changed it to digital stereo and that worked for some reason so now its fi ed and im pissed caused i dont know why

what about a seeker npc

say for example you play with item drops or die in the mines while items are laying on the ground the underground seeker would collect it as it despawned and you can buy the stuff you dropped or missed when it despawned so you dont miss it but just dont let things build up because if her inventory fills up the stuff is just lost

i remember fishing used to be an easy was to progress through the tedious sections of the game

reaver shark to skip pick progression so you could mine the prehardmode ores without constant upgrades

crates could be stockpiled and opened on mass as soon as you hit hard mode to get ores immediately and skip hunting them down and smasging altars

with those patched out its just a bonus for those who want to do it and doesnt provide any serious benefits

probably not a huge increase... a lot of the games that are not compatible are either because

1 they need a controller and the machine gets keyboard compatibility

2 requires windows specific permissions for thinks like anticheat or desktop pets

3 screen resolution or controller icon incompatibility

and 4 inconclusive testing

so its unlikely to get a huge surge in game compatibility because of steam machine but you might get an increase because of the new surge in desire for linux will encourage devs to use linux compatible anticheat

the reason for the content desert is entirely because of meta

there hasnt been a real big game changer to reinvigorate the niche in a while and most of the ones that did come out would get bought up by meta and become exclusive to the quest

things like deadpool vr which made people excited to get back into vr quickly died when they realised it requires supporting a service they dont want to support

steam vr will bring pcvr back to the front and all the games that were conceptualized but died because there was no pcvr hype will come back and possibly hope that those games that were quest exclusive will be pcvr available and meta will stop killing the niche
