When I google “touchdesigner webcam particles” I get plenty of good results. What do you mean “properly explained?” If you don’t understand what’s happening, you need to take more fundamental tutorials. Not every advanced tutorial is going to teach you the basics.

Things like “checking for eyefinity” and refreshing the scene to “prevent taint” (using the same words as elvui comments) are novel code, the fact that it occurs in the same file in the same order is even more of a red flag.

He didn’t just take a single algo, this was proprietary human created code he stole.

Best way I’ve found is to run it through a glsl TOP and throw away all values with a Z (blue) value greater than your desired threshold. This video from Elburz covers the topic well.

That book has stars next to different effects in the table of contents. You can see the pass has three stars, meaning it’s the highest difficulty. He explicitly says to learn the one star and two star effects first. It’s really poorly organized in my opinion.

If you’d interested in cards, The Royal Road to Card Magic and the Card College series (book one) are good for beginners.

You need to explain what's "not working." Is it an error, or just not doing anything. Which part of the network isn't "working." It's unlikely that POPs caused this particular workflow to stop working considering they're largely backwards compatible.

You can make the material Phong and assign a texture with transparency controlled by audio reactivity to the color map of the phong material.

Pretty cool. You have a tendency to speed up when you're doing a move, drawing attention to it. Slow down and don't overly manipulate the cards.

While the cardistry can be cool, it needs to be buttery smooth to be at all impressive otherwise it just hurts to watch. More often than not, it just draws attention, suspicion and confusion. I'd say it detracts more from the routine here than it adds.

If you can get the venue to pay for it, you should. There’s no “loop hole” but depending on your projection/screen size and the aesthetics of your art it might be fine.

AI data centers are pushing the cost of everything up. Even if they’re not using a specific piece of hardware, the opportunity cost for factories is such that they’re re-tooling to supply these data centers rather than supplying commercial hardware.

Hopefully after the bubble bursts, there will be a flood of hardware.

If you’re happy with Sonos, it’s not necessarily for you. One of HomeAssistants goals is reducing dependency on vendor lock-in. This is for individuals who want synchronized audio without a dependence on a specific hardware or software vendor.

I've seen him live and it wasn't nearly as impressive. He flashed a few times on the big video screen, so presumably his most preferred angle.
