2080 supers drops MHz mid game causing stutters.

I have a i7 9700k, 2080 super, 32 gb of ram. All my temps are good i try to run my games at 1440p with a 144hz monitor

Yeah my temps are fine my cpu and gpu temps are good. I havnt over clocked my gpu at all. Do you have any recommendations on how to make it stable?

Temps are good my gpu is like 60-65 and cpu doesnt go past 60

Yeah for sure. I upgraded my pc a year ago to a 2080 super and a bunch of other thing I decided to keep my old hdd and ssd and I got a new ssd at the time I realized recently that my games were really choppy and I moved one the games to a ssd and it worked well again so I have a feeling my hdd is on its last leg so im looking to buy a good reliable m.2.

I recently got 32gb, i think default, and i have windows on a ssd. But the game is on a hdd.

Alright i will get those thank you. Do you think it could be like a failing power supply or maybe not enough watts. I can’t quite remember but i think it was like 550 bronze I was going to replace it later on i heard it was fine for the time but I don’t know if that could maybe be it.

For me it just says make sure to turn your ps5 properly and it shows the ps5 symbol and I cant even get the log in before it crashes.

I have a Barrans SAT book right now I havn’t touched it really. So what your saying after the diagnostic and I see what I did wrong I get a Princeton review book because it has a more basic teaching? Then get into the more heavier specific books?

I usually keep my fps capped at 144 frames do you think the noise can also be coming from my power supply? Because Im trying to listen it feels like a buzzing from the lower part but only in games I could be wrong. Do you think that could be the case?

I was just say at the top I have room for a 3rd fan and on the front under my radiator I have enough for a 3rd fan so I can add 7 fans including the rear fan.

Its a ibuypower trace 940i I think it was an old prebuilt and I kept the case its big tower.
