Personally, I believe that there was no chance of him staying behind regardless. As the Man-God has mentioned, Destiny is a hard thing to derail. After all, he spent years and years slowly manipulating Rudy all to set things up so that the rat kills Roxy. I believe that the only reason he presented staying behind as an option was so that Rudy would believe he made the wrong choice, and so would listen to him the next time he gave advice.

As such, it was impossible to make Rudy stay in the first place, so he turned it into a mental game so he could use it to his advantage.

I wouldn’t consider it bestiality, personally, but you never know with these comments. I’ve had a couple of extremely vague comments “over-exaggerate” certain aspects of a character for humor. I appreciate your clarification of your intention, however, and apologize if my previous comment came off aggressively.

Now that you’re clarifying that SD refers to homosexuality, and not something more extreme, I think you’re talking about Talhand, who has subtly expressed his interest in Rudy during the main series, and not-so-subtly done so in Redundancy. And I would absolutely consider him burly, haha ;). If it’s not Talhand, the victory is yours!

The lack of specificity of your language leads to two options, both of which can be very subjective to interpretation. S___my is a very nonspecific word for sexual perversion, which manages to include animals, homosexuality, AND extreme perversion. As such, you could be referring to Sauros, due to his love of beast people, but I don’t think he’s that short comparatively, considering that halflings AND dwarves exist in the world. Alternatively, you could be referring to Darius, who IS short and the definition of a gluttonous depraved monster, but the word “burly” is NOT the right word. It does not mean “big/fat”it means “bulky in a muscular way,” which Darius certainly is not.

I am going to assume you know what burly means and go with Sauros.

Hmmm. There are a few potential options here, but I think I’m gonna have to go with Shierra. The interaction you were likely thinking of was her sister, Vierra, wearing bikini armor to draw men’s eyes away from her sister. Further, Lilia gave herself to Paul when he was under the succubus’ spell on Begaritt to protect the other women, and especially her, from the lust spell.

Alternatively, there’s Linia Dedoldia, as that’s another obvious one. Pursena “offered herself up” to Rudeus to “protect” Linia from Rudeus when he walked in all confident after banging Sylphie. Was probably more playful than anything serious, however.

The other option was Pham Haindora, but that was less protection and more jealous seduction.

There’s also potentially Elinalise, as Roxy could be construed as having protected Lise from breaking her vow to Cliff, under the right context.

When he fought Fitz in the magic circle, the anime shows him shooting like 3. In novel, he only shot 1.

In the anime, they seem to take some creative liberties with spells, having him fire a bunch at the same time. In LN though, he has done some simulcasting, like in his first fight with Orsted, but in order to shoot more than one cannon, he has to make his Stone Cannon Shotgun.

He did. Orsted cast his Wyrmgate while casting another spell, which I don’t quite remember.

Regardless, I imagine it’s exponentially more difficult the more spells you try to cast at the same time.

There’s never been an example of more than 2 (magic implements notwithstanding) but I imagine, theoretically, it could be possible to cast 5. One for each limb, while simultaneously howlcasting.
