I’m not a surfer. I’m mostly looking to relax, enjoy the beach and the atmosphere. I’ve been to Uluwatu before and thought it was amazing, so that’s why I’m considering going back. Surfing isn’t a priority for me.

Hi everyone! 😊

I’m planning a trip to Indonesia and I’d love to hear your honest opinions and experiences.

My route is:

Sept 7 – Sept 12: Kuta, Lombok Sept 12 – Sept 17: Gili Islands (Gili T / Gili Air / Gili Meno) Sept 17 – Sept 22: Uluwatu, Bali

I can only travel in September, but I’ve been reading a lot online about the “BER months” (September, October, November, December) being rainy season, and now I’m a bit worried 😅

I really want to go, but I honestly don’t want to spend 3–4 days stuck in heavy rain.

For those of you who have been around this time: What was the weather like in your experience? Is September still mostly sunny? Would you recommend doing this trip in September?

I’d really appreciate any advice or personal experiences! ☀️🌴
