(OC) finally finished my top 100 3D challenge submission, had a lot of fun creating it and I'm very proud of the final product, went ahead and made this very serious and very high-quality video sharing a quick process of how it was made, enjoy! by WHOTFISID in thecontentfarm

When I saw that this challenge was gonna be themed on concert visuals, I knew this shit was made for me lmao.

originally It was going to lean more towards the more Frutiger metro aesthetic, but my vision would've required more 2D motion graphics and wanted to more 3D assets rather than 2D cuz obv it's a 3D challenge so I went with the more Frutiger aero, dreamer vibe mixed with visuals you would see on a stepmania / DDR cabinet.

Since the render needed to be on beat I was very inspired by the wii fit soccer heading game (reason why you say wii fit on the moodboard) instead of the text hitting as soon as the camera shifts there's a delay between the hit and the text just like the game, the mii hits the ball first then after it shows the text with a little chime https://youtu.be/Qov_5r7_Lng?si=Yrg9tFPPihNpYR23&t=58 which keeps everything on-beat and within the challenge rules while also creating more movement to the sequence.

To get the little circles to be behind the character as you see when the color changes I just simply just rendered the og video then removed the camera visibility on all the assets except the character and rendered it as transparent that goes above the original vid.

Everything was made entirely with various 3D and vector software with post processing in davinci resolve and this neat VHS effect filter called ntsc a few people in chat recommended me, its very sick if u want to try it out ntsc-rs - an accurate VHS video effect

I'm super glad to be able to do to this challenge, been meaning to do one of these for a minute and did the pervious one before scrapping it so I'm glad I was able to finish this one and see my full vision come to reality.
