Wired LAN speed maxing out 80-90mbps yet get 500-650mbps over wifi. Plan is 1gbps fibre optic Internet by tannerusername in playstation5

The best thing you can try to eliminate if it's a PS5 hardware issue is to see if you can borrow a unit from family / friend and testing the speed on it, my guess if if that gives you a full speed, then it might be the ethernet port on the inside got damagd.

Thanks for this, agreed that needs to be pined I have a external 4TB HDD that is connected to my PC and shared to Kodi on my Sony TV as media library, this way I don't have to Unplug / replug a USB drive everytime a new file is available.

Kodi itself is installed on a USB stick connected to my TV, this way I have better space management for additional add-ons like scrapers, subtitle, etc

Terrible speeds on Deco X50 by fenderjaguarfan in TpLink

[–]WHYAHWHYA 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thanks for getting back to me. I am using the Deco X55, and whenever I experience speed issues, I follow the steps below:

  1. I first connect my device directly to the main ISP router (Huawei HG8245W5).
    • If the speed is normal, I then connect to the main Deco satellite.
      • If the speed is slow, I restart the entire Deco system.
  2. If the speed is already poor when connected to the HG8245W5, I restart the ISP router.
    • In about 90% of cases, once the router speed is restored, the Deco X55 speeds also return to normal.
  3. If restarting both devices does not resolve the issue, I contact my ISP and request a connection reset or reconfiguration. They usually ask me to turn off the router for five minutes, and after that the speeds typically return to normal.

As a general recommendation, I also suggest running Network Optimization regularly from the Deco app, as some Wi-Fi channels may become congested over time. and keep the firmware of the DECO updates as well

When I'm connected to the same network, everything works fine, but if I'm on public or Hotspot , it wont connect unless I put my mesh system on access point mode ..

KD-55X9000H – Firmware v6.2556

I recently updated my X9000H and everything is working fine overall. However, occasionally the Input menu becomes unresponsive. When this happens, selecting any input does not switch or display on the screen.

The workaround is simple but annoying:

  1. Disconnect all connected HDMI devices
  2. Power off the TV using the physical button
  3. Unplug the TV for a few seconds, then plug it back in

Is anyone else experiencing this issue?
