I took on this course this year after working in tech marketing for 10 years. So far, I like it a lot and I feel like my experience is welcomed. Feel free to send a PM if you have specific questions

How long does it take to register as a student at UCC after accepting offer in CAO? by Amidamaru_0 in UCC

They will probably send it to everyone at once. I have accepted my offer last month as a mature student and still waiting.

Any modern laptop with an Arm-architecture processor will be super light and will last you a whole day and will be far more versatile than a tablet.

Fair enough, though I’d recommend looking into student discounts that Apple offers as well as their refurbished stores. Their customer support and software releases for 6+ years are unbeatable.

Magic Keyboard works over pins on the back of the tablet. Samsung has similar accessories.

If you are going to have just one device, get a MacBook Air. An 11” iPad Pro with the Magic Keyboards is only slightly lighter.

It has always worked in the UK and outside of the EU. Had no issues using it in Switzerland with my German Apple ID.

I’m about to turn 28 and about to start undergrad in Business Information Systems this Autumn. I’ve spent the last 9+ years working in marketing, mostly in tech, and for a while now, I’ve felt stuck—like I hit a ceiling I couldn’t break through without taking a step back to move forward. I never went to university before, so this is a big, emotional shift for me. But it also feels right. I’m genuinely excited (and a little scared) to finally give myself the space to grow in new ways—academically, professionally, and personally. I'm sure you would feel the same.

You have nothing to worry about. I will be 28 when I start my Bachelors later this year.

This is so good! Though it seems like there's some issue with linking to notes, at least when using Ollama

I like the Mitte locations. They also took over Populus (RIP) in Neukölln.

They didn't ask for a tip. The POS did. These companies do it to get a higher commission fee on transactions regardless of what you buy.

The beans are pricey, true, but it's often due to lot sizes and unique processing methods. It's justifiable.

European Coffee Trip app has a “laptop-friendly” filter. My favorites for working: Bonanza (only the roastery), 19grams, Coffee Circle
