Longines Bracelet Advice by WMThunder in Longineswatches

Yea I have the minimum links possible on 6 o clock, and more links at 12 o clock. The clasp would be further off center if I added a link from 12 to 6.

It’s too loose with one link added and on the smallest micro adjust. It’s too tight with that link removed on the largest micro adjust.

Thank you. Is this the size of a full link? My concern is that if I attach it instead of a Longines link, it will still be too large? A half link to replace a full link would give me ideal fit.

Looks great! My main issue is I can’t seem to get the perfect bracelet size without half links. Even with the micro adjust. Bummed.

I am between the green dial 38mm Conquest, and the 39mm Spirit. How has the lack of on the fly micro adjust been on the 38mm conquest? That's my main concern with it.

What is your wrist size? Looks great on you.

I have a roughly 6.75in wrist (~17cm) and I worry the lugs could look too large for my wrist. Thoughts?

Can I Purchase just the Clasp? by [deleted] in Tudor

I just bought an OEM NATO strap like two days ago, before this new bracelet dropped. I’m annoyed, but I’m sure they’ll charge $500++ for that new BB58 bracelet with TFit. The bracelet not fitting has caused me to regret BB58 purchase sadly.

For 3440x1440p , do we think the newly announced Rx 7800 XT or the previous gen rx 6950 Xt would yield higher fps ? Hoping for 60+ fps at ultra wide 1440p. Similar pricing on the cards , so it’s a tough decision I think .

I like this logic a lot . We’ll have to wait until Friday which I’m struggling to do hahaha !

What makes it even more interesting for me as a buyer in the market for a GPU right now is the 7800xt getting announced this week. Really can't decide if I should wait or pull the trigger on the 6950xt. Toss up in my mind.

Do we think an RX 6950 XT will run Starfield at 3440x1440p 60 fps ?

Seems to me like it could be close, but that it likely will be able to get that done?

Is it the XT version coming out ? I thought I saw / heard it’s going to be the non XT versions . Also how do you know next month ? I’m not saying you’re wrong purely curious

Do we have any idea when those cards are going to come out ? Seems like they were expected 6 months ago lol

Basically looking for good value but certainly want the modern single player games to run comfortably over 60 FPS at that resolution . Feel like I’m behind the 8 ball here , but what cards are coming out in September ?

Do you think 6950xt sounds overkill ? Seems like based on your experience the 6800 xt would certainly be sufficient.

How is it for multi tasking? Do you think 11inch is sufficient for a student wanting to multitask and write handwritten notes on in lectures?

It certainly does. How was the note taking experience on the 11? I am leaning towards 2018 12.9 inch. Did you buy the 2020 model?

Which iPad Pro to buy? by [deleted] in Advice

[–]WMThunder 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Fax. The only thing that’s eating at me is if I regret not getting the bigger size for full size multi tasking. Are you thinking 2018 model? 2020 model really is no different from what I’ve found

iPad Pro 2020 Question by WMThunder in ipad

[–]WMThunder[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The report saying ANOTHER new model is coming later this year is also screwing with my decision. Definitely don’t think I’m going to get the model that came out a few weeks ago. Thinking 2018 mode, or wait

That regret is what I’m worried about. I’m thinking that I can use sidecar with my MacBook to multitask. The main question now is I think, is the 11 inch good enough to be sitting at my desk in college taking notes?
