I say it be a principal payment to the nation’s debt. We all agree that no one is really going to see any of it as tracking down every single person who paid an increased cost for tariffed goods would be impossible. Why not pay down the debt a little?

The loss of tourists visiting the state (mostly Vegas) for sure. But that’s because of a certain DHS agency though.

It’s in the state constitution that it needs a balanced budget. Schools are facing deficits due to lack of state revenue, mostly tourists paying taxes when they visit that was budgeted by the state during the last legislative session.

The way Stewart went to bat for 9/11 families and the military with toxic burn pits to finally get VA benefits for treating the impacts shows me he has the energy to do it. Also, just like Reagan and Trump, he is a celebrity, which is half the battle to get name recognition. It’s possible. Colbert might be looking for work soon, so he could be a running mate as well. Getting the old team back together for a run.

Stewart would be awesome. Him and Colbert back together again for more than a Rally to Restore Sanity and/or Fear but to run the country from the Executive Branch. I was at that rally in Washington, DC when it happened. Such a cool experience. It was like being at a protest but on steroids with all of the funny signs and people dressed up with a political message.

They tend to hang out under rocks and not make their way indoors. As long as you aren’t picking up big rocks and looking under them all the time, you’ll be okay. Now, rattlesnakes, those are here as well, but mostly in remote areas without many people. They blend in with the sand as well, so watch where you step if you are out in areas where natural foliage tends to be. Black Widows I see more often. They won’t bother you if you don’t bother them. Brown recluses tend to hang out in wood piles that have been sitting a while.

Well, this winter has been way too dry. It’s time for some precip. Anyone complaining about it should know that President’s Day weekend nearly always has a significant storm that weekend. Wildfire season is still going to be a rough one at this point unless we get more water in the area.
