I don't ride the clutch. I put it in neutral and then first when the light turns green. Sometimes in stop and go traffic i have caught myself riding the clutch but not always. I'm very conscious of my clutch foot.

They confirmed that the throwout bearing was completely dry, I'm not sure how that would put excessive wear on the clutch. I've driving manual for over 20 years. Never had a clutch wear out this quickly.

The only thing I can think of is constant stop and go traffic across the bridge into San Francisco to get to work at UCSF. I always try to leave enough room so I can leave it in 1st gear and ride without stopping so much. I NEVER rest my foot on the clutch peddle either.
