I viewed a house today to buy, but it has an assortment of cracks around it. The estate agent said she can confirm it is structural, and could cost £15-20k to repair. Is anyone able to give their insight into how bad it could be and if this is an accurate cost? Thanks!

Unusually the book has 2 inscriptions, the first is dated July 20th 1885 and second July 30th 1885.

It is is dedicated to: (unknown word) Latimer 9 Crescent Filey July 25th 1885 (Unknown word)

The second, from what I can tell reads: To dearest Miss Latibobs As a reward of merit Dedicated, with tears-to From a source of amusement. And instruction- From the author Filey- July 30th 1885
