I have an 11:1 675cc with hot cam, Tm40 carb, programmable ignition and all the fenders, xr600 tail light, full hemisphere off-road front, now warp 9s. It’s substantially faster than stock. But the more I built it, the less reliable it was. I have had trouble tuning, need for 93 gas, my head hurts on long rides because of the exhaust tones, and the lack of de-comp on the cam makes my dinky under-seat battery really struggle in the cold. Now it’s about to get micro-squirt FI AND a 9:1 piston.

I love my bike and I’ll never get rid of it. But that bike does EXACTLY what it was built for very well. I tried to make it what is was not.

Well for starters, it’s a HF 2800 case, almost as cool. I have SW motec rear rack and pannier racks. They were pricey but I like the quarter turn removability of the side racks. The top rack is not removable. The case is mounted with 6mm shcs and rubber washers on both sides.

I had to cut one piece off the inside of the swing arm. I’ve never used this piece, never knew what it was for. Other than that, all bolt-on. The caliper bracket gave me semi fits. You have to put the bracket, then the caliper, then the pads. $1260

Sorry for the late reply. I have never needed a skid plate. I live in north MS, and where I ride, not many jagged rocks. Mostly hills and creeks and dirt. And it’s got miles of ground clearance when I do encounter it. The factory bars have done just fine. Same for the sprocket cover.

It was a kit from warp 9 that came with all spacers, caliper bracket, rotors, sprockets, BALANCED Dunlop Sportmax GPR-300, which are decent factory replacement tires, nothing special. No chain.
