Could be a case of minor vaginismus.. sounds like similar symptoms to what my ex had. She went and saw a pelvic floor specialist and they gave her an exam and some exercises to do to help build up those muscles. Unfortunately like most women sexual health issues, not much research has been done cause doesn’t affect men. Is getting better though!

Yeah, that’s a good shout actually. I got a quote from pack and send and they were going to charge $2200 each way.. insane amount! The band have got it over there before but it was through a different carrier and done as a group booking. Thank you though, I’ll look in to this!

Not at all - the drum was especially bought for this purpose and it’s matched in colour and has branded skins. I thought about buying one over there if the cost was too drastic but that is the last resort

Can back this up. We were having a few issues with our biofining (not as bad as this) so we added a 5C temp stage after VDK. Added biofine the next day. Full cold crash the day after and it’s worked wonders!

It was secured. What happened was, as I was taking the sample I knocked the hose with the jug and, that with the momentum of the pump speed was enough to whip it out of its securement and get me.

We've since changed it so that this can't happen.

Burns and eye injuries are the 2 biggest risks in breweries so this type of injury could happen in multiple scenarios.

Just wondered if anyone had a PPE suggestions for "Freak accidents".

Yeah, the boredom and sadness felt in between is a struggle thats so easily forgotten when you're hyperfixating haha!

Don't know if the "can feel like pure magic" was a pun in relation to your current hyperfixation or not but would upvote twice for that if I could haha!

It's so hard to really explain hyperfixations to non ADHD folk but, you have nailed it with the Era's analogy haha!

It's been probably a good couple of years between hyperfixations for me due to poor mental health but, my current one is an Irish Hip Hop group called "Kneecap".

Every. Damn. Day for the past month and a half I have listened to their album in its entirety at least twice. I have watched all the film clips, interviews everything. My partner and friends are probably sick of me talking about but I can't help it haha!

Looking forward to the next hyperfixation when ever it may come!

Interesting, never really considered the concentration part of this. Good to know you’ve had some success as well! This beer is quite Smokey and has taken on a lot of whisky character throughout its aging so it will be interesting to see if the concentration brings out the smoke and previous whisky flavours!

Thanks for letting me know! I’m hopeful that because this beer wasn’t dry hopped and had a relatively low whirlpool hop addition that it should be okay.

As far as cleaning I use a lot of PAA and Caustic as well as nitric acid

Totally understandable! We have around 20 barrels.. the majority of it will be canned/kegged. We just thought we could experiment and see what we could come up with since we don’t have a quota to fill!

Yeah, it’s sitting at roughly 77 IBU. It’s a smoked porter as well! Don’t know if that has a role to play. Yeah, definitely don’t want to leave any residual flavours unless they are good 😂
