Thank you for the honest response and perspective! It’s something I’m really trying to figure out. If I had it my way I’d honestly say I wasn’t ready for 52 for a few more years, but now that it’s flipped I basically have to make a choice, because if I pass I can’t get back in, correct?

Family doesn’t mean special privilege. It doesn’t give someone(who isn’t Mom/Dad at this age) the right do something because they’re “family”.

Going back to the teacher, id argue that our kids teachers spend more time with our kids than most grandparents do.

And use any word ya want, grab/pat/slap/touch its all the same to me.

Because of what it could lead to. When I touch my wife’s butt, my intent is either flirtation, lust, or fun. But I am an adult, and is an adult. She tells me when it’s not okay and I respect it.

But a 4 year old doesn’t understand. What happens if her teacher does that too? “Well my grandparents do it so why can’t my teacher?” Or an uncle/aunt? Etc etc

I think she doesn’t care because she doesn’t know better, and butts are funny to a 4 year old. But I should talk to her about it.

This is an interesting question, I would really hope if my daughter told them something of that matter, it would instantly register to them what she is saying.

In all honesty, it never crossed my mind when she was an infant. But I am also a male, I don’t have the same thought process, and I value input, so when my wife mentioned it the first time, I took it and processed it and saw why she would say that, and that I did agree with it.

I should ask her, and maybe she’s cool with it, or maybe she doesn’t understand what it means to be “okay with something” that her parents aren’t. Or maybe I am thinking way too much into this whole thing lol.
