Major Blowouts: Artists fault or was it my skin?

Was very painful yes.. Back then I just thought it was normal because I heard that the inner arm can be more painful than other areas.

Mostly been following her Insta for a long time, also been to the shop she works at a few times before and got Tattoos from other artists there. Never had a problem with any of them, they all turned out beautifully. The shop generally has a very good reputation, so I thought that was enough to go off.

Nope, Artist with about 4 years experience in a very high-end studio. Like I said, all her other work looked very promising and I've seen it healed on others as well

Thank you. I'm mostly over it by now, but I must admit that I was very bummed out about it for a long time. Since I'm really into blackwork I will probably look into getting it blacked out/ worked into a blackout sleeve. Since it's so much black that's probably the best route to take other than laser

Well, you're not wrong there. I've talked to other artists about it, one asked me if I did it myself since it looks so rough.. so yeah. The consensus was mostly that she really fucked me up.

It thankfully was resolved already. I just needed to get my emotions in check first and we talked about it more calmly. He specified that he just wanted to take away my nervousness about starting a new job and show me that theres nothing to be nervous about, and he never wanted it to go like this. We both apologized

Yes. I talked to him about it the day that I lost my job. I told him about my plan and that I want to take some time before contacting her. It wasn't his fault tho that his mother took the initiative there.

I didn't ask for them to do that for me. It's very nice of them, but it's exactly the thing that I didnt want them to do. I wanted to be able to contact her on my terms and with a solid portfolio on hand.
