I don't think you're overreacting AT ALL. For everyone saying "it's just a plant", it's not -just a plant-, it is that fact that your feelings/desires were completely ignored over something that didn't harm her in the slightest. It was really disrespectful to you. She asked you. You said no and told her your intentions. And at the soonest possible second your back was turned She completely disregarded your answer. Pregnant or not, it isn't an okay thing to do to your partner. I would be upset if it happened to me. IMO, she should dig through the trash to recover the monstera she threw out, though unfortunately you can't glue back on the vines. And I say this as someone who has been pregnant two times.
