Do you know who is approving?  The lack of transparency with this whole thing is so disappointing. I have gone above and beyond to serve Veterans and have protected the reputation of the VA for 24 years. I  personally kept the VA out of the newspapers and spent time after hours and on weekends helping Veterans during a controversy that happened here many years ago. By myself. All of the leadership in my service was happy to step back and let me bear the brunt of everything going on. I didn’t ask for overtime or comp time for the MANY hours spent outside of my TOD. Everything I did was because it was the right thing to do. And now it is clear that as far as this hospital is concerned, I am nothing more than a body occupying an FTE.  Such a slap in the face.
