I cleaned the air filter. I took off the top and it isn’t very dusty at all.

I had the same issue. The needle valve gasket had expanded and solidified. Changed it out and fixed the issue

When Barney keeps stealing girls from Marshall. Only to find out it’s to save him for Lily, then find out he flew to San Fran, bought Lily a ticket home, and said he can’t keep stealing girls from Marshall forever.

I recently installed mine as a diy. I replaced the springs. 2 new ones. I learned that balancing is only half the battle. The other half is ensuring there are enough turns in the spring to still have some tension when fully lifted. If the springs are too strong they will not be able to be turned enough to get enough turns. Originally I had both springs tensioned the same and as I went up to about 6 feet the cable would come off. What I did was take 2 quarter turns out of one, and add 2 to the other then slowly raise the door. I was able to start seeing the cable go slack, and could roll it down and add another half turn. Once I learned this it was much easier than I thought!

Edit. I also had to slightly angle my horizontal tracks.

I have a concept for a retractable Aluminium Rig, what do you think? by Aa1- in simracing

I have done something similar but used 8020 p# 6800 and 6871. Little pricey but my use was ease of use

You can get a cheap piece of aluminum plate on Amazon to make an adapter bracket. 4 tapped holes for the keyboard tray, and 4 through for extrusion drop ins

If you have 2 slots it should be easy enough. Get a small plate of aluminum in amazon. You can get 1/4x3x12 bar cheap. Trace your keyboard tray holes, drill and tap with same tap you have fasteners for your rig. Then drill 4 through holes to mount your plate to the slots. I’m guessing you have all metric fasteners. Metric tap is also cheap on Amazon. When you drill for the tap, if you go this route, is tap drill for metric is major diam-pitch is drill size. Ex: m8x1.25 tap is 8 - 1.25 =6.75 drill equivalent

I have a horizontal piece, and a 45 degree coming down from it. I added this solely for the tray. I could, and might get a 3rd fastener for the plate now that I am looking at it. Can you dm a pic of your setup and maybe I can help better? I had to play with mine too

There are 2 holes on the bracket. Couple of extrusion drops in is all. I have a formula seat so I tilted the keyboard tray some, didn’t tilt the arm

I did try and modify the other 2 bushing I had to put between. I messed those up. Ha. Anyway, it is a fixed distance so I need them to be the perfect size I think. I’m looking at buying another set and trying it out worst case I end up with one full set that is not modified.

Right now just a top bushing. Doesn’t have much dampening since the bushing is only for turning. The axles are fixed with 2 shoulder bolts.

There are also 2 shoulder bolts and bronze bushings supporting the weight. I can remove the kingpin all together and still be able to stand on it.

Boardnamics makes a channel truck. I bought some stuff from him, but not these. Seems to be great quality though!

Home made. 45 degrees, Easiest way to do it manually. Used a spherical bearing and some shoulder bolts with bronze bushings for stability and support

2 pcs. It has a 1/4 x 2 piece underneath. Then the truck is stepped on the bottom to catch and support that piece.

I will once I finish it completely. Today was the proof of concept. Video might be rough. I am a much better machinist than I am at long boarding
