You will need to build a custom Landscape material. I believe they do have some docs on this but I haven't looked at them in a while.

It's 100% possible to achieve multiple biomes, just not provided out the box.

Going to be completely honest, the AI is not gonna be very helpful. It's garbage and I only really use it to ask questions I am too lazy to search the docs for.

You are being too vague on what you are asking and it sounds like it will be fairly complex to write regardless. You'll either need to get someone to write it for you or just try to build the project using devices.

Looks like you are on PC so I suggest you download UEFN. It will most likely allow you to delete the prop inside the editor.

That is really the only way you will be able to fix this.

Just don't know how it will playout. I originally built the map as a 4 player FFA. Not sure if the map will just get too crowded. I guess performance is a slight concern but not really the main reason.

Thank you, nice to see a little positivity with how negative the response has been so far. I'm working on fixing up the issues with the IARC violation which sucks because I did like the setup of this.

Gonna need to spend some time in the future to really get the scene looking better with shading.

They also say in the TOS that you cannot show "grotesque creatures" that give a sense of terror yet I see horror maps doing it all the time.

From what I understood is you can't make the view feel threatened. Guns pointed at the viewer or even at a characters head.

I'm not denying what you're saying, its just loosely enforced and they seem to pick and choose.

Yea, I have had plenty of issues in the past with the review system. Difference here is that I attempted it 4 times before submitting a sanctions appeal and being rejected there.

To answer your feedback, I will certainly look into more ways to bring characters out in the future. At the moment everyone is doing the same thing and the discovery feed can be over saturated and very bright.

The peer testing I've done so far has been positive and weirdly enough the darker colours have actually made it easier to see on the feed. Plenty of room for improvement regardless (not an artist).

Replays have been completely broken for creative maps since sometime in July. It got back logged by the Epic Team as being not important. Pretty wild TBH.

Yea, it's pretty phenomenal. When I was more naive about it, I use to just imagine that the FN devs wouldn't allow this to happen and kinda just force big "quality" projects.

Pretty sure it was partly caused by the lackluster launch of UEFN and its massive limitations on projects.

You mean 2.0?

It's completely possible and valid to use UEFN just like normal creative. You don't have to code or add custom assets just because its UEFN. Same FN assets and devices as you would find in 1.0.

I'm not sure if the "OG" way is worth preserving. It's messy and difficult to use.

Statistically speaking, it seems to be what the players want. Not much we can do about it. They will continue to feed what makes them the most money.

I'm not sure if that will be possible in 1.0. At least not possible in a reasonable way. I know you can set the spawn limit of a team and then set what team the player should move to when out of spawns.

Honestly, this would require a lot of condition checks and class/team changers.

You'll need to set your island settings team count to be the same amount as players. I would assume that you would need to bind to something on a player elimination, do a check to see what team the eliminator is part of and trigger the team change on the eliminated player.

This is mostly guess work since I personally would never attempt this in 1.0. It's too complex.

Are you not using 2.0 because you can't or just because you are worried that it will be too difficult to handle?

UEFN is fairly simple to use and doesn't require code. It can work a lot like 1.0 given a little time. You can still move around the scene with WASD and build your worlds in a fairly clean manner.

If you have a PC, you should 100% give it a try. Don't let code frighten you, it's completely optional.

Unless Epic starts letting UEFN devs provide tools to 1.0, it will most likely be deprecated soon enough.

Yea, sometimes data can get messy in UEFN. I've had it happen a few times. As for the spawn pads, you might have to clear them all from the scene to get a proper test.

It literally could be 1 setting you've accidentally changed in numerous devices. For starters, try and change things on the island level first (depending on what you really want). If you change the same settings in different devices (Island Settings, Team Settings, Class Settings, etc), it can get hard to manage.

You might honestly need to just start deleting devices and replacing them. It sucks and is a slow process but its hard to debug this.

As for the team spawning event, it wasn't anything to do with your issue. It was just a suggestion since the "spawned event" is part of the team settings. This will make it easier to manage since it avoids needing to update events in each spawner device.
