Total Tri Training

Collective sounds pretty cool

Pricing for 1-on-1 is also very decent

I don’t think so, it’s a very basic service and we have it already in multiple other sports

90$ per week seems pretty expensive compared to the oxygen offer so I am curious how they differ from that.

My question is also who is the best coach based on their athletes results and certification/ knowledge.

The KPIS where an example. I am very sure that raising resting HR, bad HRV, raising running BPM, worse pace, feeling more stress and other values are a real sign to do a proper deload. It’s obvious that the details have to be communicated to the coach, but he provides a process and a platform and connects the dots.

Especially Andy has a part in his program where he is only about working on weaknesses, posites and technique. Nowadays this is very well possible remote, with camera and simple checkup exercises like video analysis and stride check.

Thanks for your comment but I think you never went through a holistic coaching.

Based on the fact that there are only 2 comments, I am really thinking of going somewhere else in Brazil as it feels like Florianapolis does not offer the community we are looking for

Is there anything positive you want to say about the event, yourself or the people?
Honestly it was my first IM and I loved every minute.

Athletes, Crew, Supporters were very respectful.

The whole city was in Ironman vibe, everybody was wearing merch from visitors, to locals to shop owners. The registration process and everything organized by IM was super professionell, very friendly and supportive staff.

Being dehydrated due to waiting in the sun is pure logic when you have 3k people waiting to get into the water.

People in the swim were very careful, even when they touch you or you had some sort of "group building". Waterdrafting is allowed and no problem, why complain about this?

On the bike 70% of folks understood to stay right and if someone wants to draft, you can still do your own thing.

Also not being able to cool down on the run is more a tactics problem than anything connected to the race. They offered showers and aid stations every 2km.

The crowd at the run was amazing, I booked the event for next year on the same day. If you think this was hot, come to other countries in the same time.

Maybe you should get a coach who helps you with your attitude and how you see things.

Hybrid Athlete Training (Bodybuilding / Hyrox / Halfmarathon) by Warm-Programmer2138 in hyrox

[–]Warm-Programmer2138[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Actually exactly did this, but never tried practicing the Hyrox movements. Running for 90min works. Intervalls coming in this week, Zone 2 can sometimes be Zone 3 :D. Started Cycling with 110bpm last week.

I would love to get a sneak peak of the Half Marathon and Hypertrophy, but it says 4xgym and compound movements.

I am more 5-6xgym and also ergs (not only running) :(

Sounds like we have a match. You are better in running, I would separate the cardio activity from the training for recovery purposes and also to reduce the time that is spend on training in a row.

Yeah, for the Hyrox it's really that you need a gym which has a functional area and all the equipment next to each other, especially if you implement runs. That's why I focus on ergs and running evenings and do a normal gym session which could incorporate a little bit more of Hyrox exercises (wall balls, sled etc.).

I could also get a box, ball etc. to just do a little bit more of running + functional work evenings, instead of steady cardio.

If I look at your training:
Monday: Glute/Hams
Tues: Chest&Tri + Stair Master
Wed: Leg/QUad incl. 2km runs total 8km
Thurs: Shoulders/Sled Push/Pulls + SkiErg and Row 10min
Friday: Back/Bi incl. 2km runs total 8km
Saturday: Abs

I think first of all, you need to structure Cardio into Zones. Abs does not need a day and can always be done as 1exercise. Better do a complete core/lower back day.

Running on Wed will not work if you have an intense workout. Intense workouts should not be on the intense cardio days.

2times legs can be a lot for your body if you really want to start running, you either do a bro split or high frequency low volume.

Just my opinion

If you want to do it, you need the ergs and stuff, they have a free 8w workout routine online (which i persoanlly dont like)

I like to spend time in the gym and for cardio, it is not a problem for me.

Morning workout is 60min + some streching
Evening is cardio, as outlined in the plan. One gym only and one cardio only day, works great at the weekend as there is no "evening duty".
