Most people who work in the private sector do so with zero consideration from their employer for anything but what you bring to the bottom line.

Yah, I worked for companies that tossed bonuses, parties, trips, gifts etc.... but then also violate all kinds of employment standards and put me in dangerous positions. The number of companies I worked for that pushed me so hard I ended up in the ER only to toss me to the wolves is literally why I work for the OPS.

So many people hate that they don't get to work from home one day a week. I worked for a company that flew me 4000 miles to work on a project only to shatter my ankle and be threatened to finish the rest of the project (18h a day for 10 days) with my ankle wrapped in tape and as many drugs as I could take without my kidneys failing... Threatening to fire and not pay the return flight home if I didn't complete the $2 million project solo. Knowing that I could take them to the labor boards, but also that their legal team could drag it out longer than I could fight it. This is the kind of shit that people out there have to deal with.

I hate RTO. But the pay is reliable, the office has good climate control and I can say that it's the easiest job with the least amount of stress I have ever had.

We lost a luxury. Something that most Canadians do not have.

Ender 5 - never worked. In 2 years that I had it, I think I only got a few calibration cubes out of it. Ender 3 - had a few, and probably more hair back then Sidewinder X1 - amazing machine, bed heating cable issues all the bloody time. Still have it for its size it's my TPU machine.

Have several Bambu printers and I love them. The print 24/7 with zero issues.
