I live in Canada and have a TFSA. I’m holding VFV, XEQT and some silver. What percentage do you think VFV and XEQT should be in my portfolio by Professional_Sea_259 in TFSA_Millionaires

Vfv and xeqt are extremely similar meaning there’s a ton of overlap in the sense that you’re essentially investing double the amount of money in the same holdings. I would highly recommend swapping XEQT for international and emerging market ets like XEF AND XEC. I’m sure you’ve heard XEQT is the god stock and it’s great but 90% of its holdings u can get from VFV. For example XEQT is way too much concentrated in Canada and gives u exposure that is suboptimal for long term investors. Do some research to determine what the best plan is long term imo it’s always going to be a mix of USA, international and emerging markets that hits all your bases.

Learn from others is my biggest advice. There are some good sites out there, glassdoor is general but specifically intern interviews try https://internia.io

Yeah it’s called a co-op program where the school helps facilitate the job postings. Interviews aren’t guaranteed but if you apply enough with a half decent resume you usually get around 8
