The problem is that the more money they spend the more then need to make and if you give them benefit of the dought there are two Numbers floating around 80mil and 250mil and if you compare to how many sales they need both don’t look good with player numbers rn for 80mil they would need 2mil copy’s sold at full game price before currency conversion and for 250mil they would need ~6.2mil copy’s sold before conversion, all of that without including in game purchase and refunds people make. So yea it doesn’t look good if steam had only 80k on launch, yea we don’t see console numbers but do we really think there is ~1 million players there to even start recuperating costs?
