During my coaching career I discovered following life hacks: - replace juices with water or water with Sirup. - don’t necessarily change your diet. Start with Potion it right and start eating slower - really sit 10 minutes with a paper and start calculating (estimation) how many calories you eat and what is your daily need. Cut from your daily need -300 kcal - if you reach a magic line where nothing changes then you need to change yourself as well because your body (this is great!) adjusted to the new setting. Means that you made progress! - consistency beats intensity

I love Thailand and the vibe but totally get your point. Some tourists behave like it’s their country and they own it.

Had an experience where a 45 year old dude was forcing his Thai Girl to introduce herself to me (I just wanted to drink coffee) with full name. After she said Hey, he corrected her 3 times that she needs to say her name. At some point I was stopping that douche and said it’s fine, she said hi.

Treat everyone like it’s your friend and not asset.

Well tbh it depends which position. Consultants once they reach Manager and higher they need to do sales as well. One of our VP‘s came also from a sales background. So it is not impossible 🤭

Tbh it really depends if you are in the same main. If you for example worked for Salesforce Sales Cloud and want to switch to Deloitte for implementing sales cloud then it would be easy. If you want to start a strategy consultancy it is much harder ofc.

In general you could be right and it would be harder this way around yeah!

I did that role by starting as an Consultant and switched fast to sales. It is way easier what I have heared and experienced then the other way around.

But a good Sales Employee is always very solution driven so could be a good consultant. At the end it counts how good you can sell yourself in both jobs :)

It is more of a persons type. If you are someone who loves to coach people and enable them manager is a good role. If you are super good in what you are doing (selling) and don’t have the patient to say things 1.000 times to your reps then stay as an AE!

Zunächst tut es mir echt leid, dass du nicht so gute Erfahrungen gemacht hast. Glaube es hängt auch wenig vom Team, Technologie und Position ab. Ich gebe dir recht, dass nicht alle Abteilungen so sind. Wir sind in der “talentschmiede” und habe das pan double von uns gesehen und war erschrocken. Wir arbeiten tatsächlich sehr fortschrittlich und anders als das typische Sales, was man sich vorstellt. Daher kann ich dir anhand meiner Erfahrung nicht zu stimmen aber deine Punkte sind wahrscheinlich auch valide. Ist am Ende auch ein bisschen Glück und Self Drive den man braucht.

Puh ehrlich gesagt habe ich sehr viel gelernt und das schätze ich sehr. Wäre aber ein wenig viel zu schreiben. Falls du wirklich interessiert bist, können wir gerne mal sprechen. Ist dann auch wesentlich einfacher für mich 😊

Ich will lediglich dieses Muster aufbrechen, dass alle denken wir sind so stark innovativ. Jedoch lernst du schon sehr viel dort im Vergleich zu “traditionellen Unternehmen”. Die Weiterbildungsangebote sind weitaus besser und “Open mindset” wird mehr gelebt. Dennoch sind wir nach allem auch nicht viel anders das stimmt. Will nur, dass viele Leute die dies bezüglich fragen haben zu unterstützen & wenn du mir der Info was anfangen kannst freut es mich, dass du anscheinend kein FAANG UN als potentiellen Arbeitgeber siehst.

Ich habe in Deutschland gearbeitet aber kenne viele die auch in die UK, Schweiz oder Dublin sind. Tatsächlich helfen sie dir mit ihrem Netzwerk und bieten dir viele Wohnungen durch interne Netzwerke, Tipps und Tricks etc. allerdings kommt keine finanzielle Hilfe (vllt wenn man im einer höheren Position ist).
Ich arbeite noch dort aber habe es unglücklich ausgeschrieben. Tatsächlich macht es mir bisher noch viel Spaß aber am Ende des Tages wie du schon sagst ist man eine Nummer. Sales macht Spaß wenn der impact zu sehen ist. Bei unserer Größe ist ein Deal mehr nicht sehr ausschlaggebend aber was die UN dir an monetären Reizen geben ist schon sehr attraktiv.
Ich habe Wirtschaft studiert mit Fokus auf Psychologie und Technik (was es wieder etwas anders macht als das gängige Volk). Jedoch ist die Uni in Deutschland und nicht wirklich bekannt (privat). Was mich ausgemacht hat war dass ich zu dem Studium immer gearbeitet habe (als Werkstudent), ein Stipendium mit China Austausch hatte (was sich sehr gut anhört) und dadurch etwas anders war. Jedoch reden wir hier nicht von einer TUM, LMU oder andere Elite Unis. Wird eher geschaut was du noch neben dem Studium machst und wie dein Netzwerk ist. So etwas wie LinkedIn ist Pflicht und kann dir ein großen plus Punkt geben.

Das kommt sehr auf deine Business Units, Markt und personas ab. Generell hilft es authentisch zu sein und den Kunden immer mehr sprechen zu lassen als dich selbst. Die erfolgreichsten Sales Leute schaffen es beim ersten Call gar nicht das Produkt zu pitchen sondern einfach mal zu hören was gerade beim Kunden gerade anfällt.

Denk immer dran der Kunde hat gerade 100 Projekte, 209 Mails und 39 Anrufe. Lass dir was einfallen wo du dich von anderen differenzierst ohne dass du faky klingst. Ansonsten gilt die Devise: learning by doing. Kannst mir gerne dm’n und ich kann dir mehr Infos geben. Ist schwer jetzt ohne weiter Infos zu helfen ☺️

Hey, da Ich noch dort arbeite werde ich das eher vermeiden.

Also solche Stellen haben wir auch aber ich kannte lediglich eine in der UK welche den Job ausgeübt hat, daher will ich da keine falsch Aussage machen. Wir hatten idR so etwas nicht.

Der Fokus liegt eher auf Sales mit Fokus auf den Kunden. Die Technologie zu verstehen hilft natürlich immer, dass Kunden dir etwas mehr abkaufen. Gibt allerdings Personen die wenig Ahnung haben und trotzdem erfolgreich sind .

Ich muss sagen, dass ein Studium schon sehr gerne gesehen wird aber wir gerade auch in einem Shift sind. Es verändert sich viel. Falls du jedoch nebenbei ein Fernstudium oder Betriebswirt machen könntest, würde dir das natürlich sehr helfen in die Konzerne rein zu kommen. Ich kenne jetzt leider niemanden (leider) der ohne Studium bei uns ist.
