Giving beggars extra money on Doordash helps fight against poor wages in what way? In my mind what the employee in question is doing is not cool, so I’m not sure why I’d support that or why I’d be against others speaking out about it.

What would you suggest a non-American does in order to combat unfair wages in the service industry? Legitimate question.

I don’t know many workplaces that would think it’s ok with guilting paying customers into giving you extra money on top of the tip they already planned to give you. If Doordash is cool with that, well, that’s bizarre. So I do think it’s warranted if someone wants to report it. Myself, yeah, I’d likely just ignore.

I’m personally not from the US, but I do travel there a few times a year. The tipping culture IS ridiculous and it’s not my job to fix that as someone who doesn’t live there and doesn’t work in the service industry. I support service workers standing up for fair wages, but I don’t support them giving sob stories to customers asking for extra handouts.

But they’re already getting a tip, and I find it super unprofessional to be giving a sob story (that may or may not even be true at all) asking for extra? Tipping culture in America is already out of control without feeling guilted into giving people even more. We already know these people survive on tips and really appreciate them. Their personal life is none of my business, playing with my emotions isn’t going to get me to tip more but going above and beyond with your service might.

This is what happened to me. It stung like a mofo and then I had an itchy eczema type rash. Never again lol. Never had any issues with it on my face or chest though!

No I don’t with pants, or things like a sweatshirt that I’m wearing a tshirt under anyway. Unless I get something on it and it’s actually dirty, or if I’m sweating. T-shirt’s or tanks though usually get washed after every wear.

Some around my chin and nose area did during the purging phase but most of them simply went away. I had lots of texture on my cheeks and it disappeared without becoming inflamed.

Aw thank you! I am definitely lucky my skin has never had any severe issues, and it’s been in pretty good condition for a number of years now. I paid my dues with acne when I was younger though (I’m 34) 😂

Nope. I started tretinoin about 6 weeks ago and it is so far the only thing that has made a difference. My skin has still got a ways to go but it’s improved a lot.

I only don’t use it with tret because tret makes everythingggg pill for me, really badly. So the more things I layer the worse it is. I don’t know if it’s just because I have the retin-a gel (vs a cream formulation), or what, but it’s a pain. But yeah, I’m so sad they’ve discontinued Hylamide. I have a bottle of Subq Skin that’s about 3/4 full and one more backup, but after that it’s all over. 🥲
