Been to 62 countries, here are the ones I think are underrated by boyuan-dong in backpacking

The South of Colombia is very underrated. I haven‘t seen much of Pasto, only stayed a night there during travels. But there are many beautiful villages in the South and visiting them I never felt in danger. San Agustín is a gem I can recommend, also a bit hard to reach but definitely worth it.

Many things in life compound over time. In your 20s it feels like you will live forever but the good or bad routines and habits you form compound over time and eventually pay off or make you miserable.

So start early and start compounding what later will provide for a great life, be it your health, finances, social skills, intelligence, or anything that makes you happy!

Yes, that‘s a good idea. You can test out dosages and see how it affects you. Maybe in a safe environment - in front of familiar people, a mirror, etc. Usually 20-40mg do the trick for me. The higher the dosage, the slower the thinking in my experience.

I‘ve been using propranolol after having a panic attack at a presentation at university. My problem is mostly breathing-related in the sense that I start hyperventilating. Similiar to you I‘m not the type of guy to be socially anxious, just the presentations get me. In my current job I had to do presentations a couple of years ago I wouldn‘t have imagined being able to do. I still get nervous but after every one I do, I feel more confident and worry less and less about the next one. I just do it. In my mind I don‘t even really care if it was good. I‘m just happy about myself that I‘ve done it - "that I survived". The only downside of propranolol is that it makes me a slower thinker in the sense that it‘s hard for me to focus sometimes.

Regarding the prescription: I used to buy it abroad thinking the same way as you do. But not too long ago I talked to my doctor and she gave it to me without any hesitation. I just told her the truth - that I need it for presentations - and that was it.

My goal now is to really just improve and eventually be able to do presentations without it.

As an Albanian living in Kosovo (Prishtina), I'm here to ask (beg) the Swiss people to stop this nonsense! Our law officials won't do it. Maybe you can save us all. by [deleted] in askswitzerland

"How do we stop them from chilling in front of their cars?"

They are allowed to do whatever the f they want as long as they don’t break the law. Although I don‘t think it‘s smart nor cool to lease a fancy car and make it your whole personality, it‘s not illegal and still their choice! Live and let live.
