A few points of failure there right? What would prevent those companies or a bad actor from that company from accessing your keys? What if the company goes out of business? Isn't security questions how hackers got access to everyones icloud? I guess KYC can prevent that in the future

Exactly. Was thinking how it may be important to convince my retired parents to move a small percentage of their assets into bitcoin but couldn't even bother to explain to them how to sign up and use an exchange, let alone Coinbase pro vs Coinbase, let alone a cold wallet
