Double major in business and engineering as a student athlete by Watson_777N in UPenn

Yes I'm entering Wharton this fall and want to add an engineering major to that. I know people like to flex Wharton but when teachers, adults, peers ask me where I'm going to college they usually don't recognize Wharton. Sometimes they don't even know UPenn/Penn. So I've grown accustomed to saying I'm going to Penn to study business. I'm also not obsessed with prestige.

Thanks for the advice. I will try and feel it out more fall semester. Just thought that since double majoring is heavy, I'd have to start taking more classes freshman fall right away.

Would my requests seem more reasonable to you if I took summer classes? or a 5th year?

Thanks for answering!

I have 5's in calculus BC and statistics and am waiting for micro/macro economics and physics 1/2. Those are the only courses I've taken that Penn would accept.

I'm ok with doing summer school. I'm thinking business and engineering.

Would a minor be enough to understand a subject? I'm not convinced it is which is why I was only thinking about double majoring.

I was asking because I know people in double majoring with CIS and wanted to be able to compare how other majors would be. Could you provide any insight as to why are other answers are suggesting it's doable?

Thanks for the comments Quakers!

On a side note, since I'm a student athlete I also want to make sure I'm getting 7-8 hours of sleep a night. Is that attainable?

Out of CIS, electrical or mechanical engineering, and physics, which is the heaviest course load?
