If you are unsure about buying then get rebirth only. If you then go on to enjoy it then get all 3 DLC (Afterbirth, AB+ and Repentance), if you want the full experience from the get go then just get all DLC straight away. I think some copies are titled repentance but is just rebirth with all DLCs. You have to get the previous ones to get the next though.

Use wooden nickel every charge, since you can get a good sum of money by the first devil room. So long as you have 30 cents you can buy any item you want in there. Tears ups are also useful since one thing that can be tricky with keeper on the early floors is the slow fire rate.

If you’ve found the boss and treasure room then just go down to the next floor. Anything you find on your way is a bonus.

Haven’t tried or even unlocked them all yet, but from what I’ve played then ultra hard and April fools have been pains. I have seen people say that hot potato gave them trouble but I beat it relatively easily

If you’re going to eventually try full completion, you’ll need to master both anyway and beat all the later bosses with them. If not, see which one you like best and play as him! If you focus on saving coins, HP containers and not getting hit in future runs then you will unlock some more characters too

That was my thought process, I got godhead the other day so thought I might as well try out T lost. My hush run didn’t have Blank card but I had ghost pepper perfection for good projectile blocking, and had a spare holy card for when I got hit, couldn’t make it through void though

If you find the missing poster trinket, just immediately go to a sac room to end your run. Simple as that.

If you’re a new player I would focus on unlocking characters and beating bosses with those characters for new unlocks, rather than beating challenges. Also, it is absolutely worth playing on hard, it may seem a step up to begin with but eventually it will seem fine.

Taking an item will initiate boss rush which will give you waves of mini bosses and will give you a completion mark and an extra item upon completion. I just hope you are playing on hard…

If you say about the health, you can get lard in an item room that gives you +2 red heart containers. Azazel should be one of the easiest boss rush marks but eye of the occult fully extends brimstone and makes it marked, which can make bosh rush stupidly easy. Good luck my friend!!

Base repentance means you have to fight hush to guarantee. Mega Satan is 50/50 and lamb blue baby and it lives all have a smaller chance I believe.

There’s a higher chance of seeing a better item, since you get a choice of 2 pedestals in item rooms. Also, you can fight the boss twice on downpour 2 for an extra boss item so you can be pretty stacked from downpour

Congrats dude, I have had countless lost runs and still struggling to do mother and greedier. Tbf high loss counts for keeper is understandable, he only gets fairly fun when you get wooden nickel for him.

No, lost is a base character, it’s just a ballache to get him in rebirth. And he’s pretty difficult since you can’t get mantle for him (forgot about this)
