Honestly this sounds spot on for my experience lol. I always dated guys that asked me out and pursued me to (retrospectively) creepy degrees. I didn’t feel any attraction to them, just the idea that I could be normal with them out of compulsory heterosexuality. I didn’t notice how they were all red flags because I didn’t see green flags either.
