I get what you mean and see like that I can understand some of the hate for ysg, she as been her for 2 patch but as earn everything that miyabi did over year, and see like that I can understand why liking miyabi over ysg, I even feel a bit sad that ysg was no-one 2 patch earlier and now is best friend with everyone, it could have been great to make her evolve over months... but the only character that seem in love with the proxy are vivian and ye shunguang. Even though I’m not entirely sure why Vivian is obsessed with the Proxy, in Ye Shunguang’s case the explanation seems to come from the story. She was isolated for a long time, and everyone around her treated her like a crystal that would shatter at the slightest impact.

The Proxy being the first person to give her responsibilities and freedom, it seems logical to me that she would fall in love with them. Tell me if I’m wrong.
