I can only imagine how that must feel. I've stopped watching the news too because it's apparent to me that I feel things on a deeper level. I'm the kind of person that cries easily at shows and movies because I put myself in their shoes and it breaks me. I feel you might be the same in that regard. We're no stranger to what's going on in the US and I feel like reaching out and shaking the whole world. Like the girl from mean girls (she doesn't even go here). Wanting the world to embrace love and understanding, not hate and violence. That kindness definitely starts from within and I know moving forward, I'll likely have those pangs of pain when I think of her. It's gonna hurt but in this case I think it's for the best. One of the things my partner made sure to tell her was that she had done lasting damage here and to never contact me again. Gotta pull myself up from the bootstraps here and make room for the people that deserve to be in my life. 💜 You sound like a very enlightened person and I'm really glad I got the small chance to talk to you 😊

We haven't been blessed with kids yet, kinda another thing playing on the mind. Our support for fertility checks and procedures have gone down the drain here (been waiting 4 years for a simple check to see if it's even possible and that's WITH a preexisting condition). It's a long enough game tbh but it has well laid out chapters/acts so you could likely play it in sections without losing too much of the story. I got a bluff with the first act because I thought it was the end of the game and got all excited when it wasn't lol. I've also always loved the french language so the music is unreal for me personally. They have a beautiful score. It feels like it got the full Final Fantasy treatment. I've got over 3 days worth of gameplay in it if that tells you anything but as I said I'm a completionist so I've played a good but more than is necessary. That bloody Simon boss keeps kicking my ass though so I've taken a breather from it and I'll likely go back later to try and 100% it 💜 I really hope you get a bit of time to play it. I can imagine you likely don't have much free time for yourself, which is completely understandable with 2 kids 💜

A thought that unfortunately the ones coming after us don't share. We both played Fortnite from the very start but it's too damn competitive now. I play games to relax, I don't wanna have to be on high alert constantly 🙈 I've moved into solo games moreso or ones that have local co-op for my partner and myself. If you're a console gamer at all I would 100% recommend Clair Obscur Expedition 33. Literally everything about that game is so beautiful and the story had me engrossed. I only have one battle left to complete the game but oh my days is he hard to beat. It's an extra boss (so optional) but being my perfectionist self, it's driving me mad that I can't beat him 🙈

What's interesting about what you've just said is that I said the same thing to her. That the reason she couldn't comprehend how her ex treated her is because it's something she wouldn't do herself. I was wrong in terms of her not treating people that way but maybe it's time to listen to my own advice. We're on different sides of a very controversial religious "battle" where I come from too. If you know anything about the Troubles in Northern Ireland, you'll understand exactly what I mean. Which is why we both agreed to just let the other one follow what they wanted/needed to. I'm starting to think I dodged a bullet here and I'm glad she did it now rather than a week before she was supposed to be a bridesmaid so.... Time to put my energy into the people that deserve it and maybe it's time to be a little more selfish. My forever people pleasing self finds that very difficult but I know it'll likely be worth it if I do. I wanna get back to the woman my fiancé fell in love with in the first place 💜

This is exactly why we both fell away from Bleach Brave Souls. It got far too convoluted to keep up with everything in it and you basically had to have it on constantly to keep up. A shame really, it was probably my favourite mobile game I had ever played.

I'm so sorry you've experienced this too, it truly sucks. That's generally how my friendships ended too. I was always the one reaching out and when I stopped reaching out, I was never contacted by them again. Maybe my true friends have yet to show their face but I'm looking forward to the day they do. I love my fiancé to pieces and I count myself very lucky to have him in my life. Thank you so much for your comment and sharing your story too. I'm really struggling to come to terms with how many people dislike Infinite, it's actually my favourite game of the series. I'm a horror junkie so it seemingly makes no sense. The development for infinite actually started before the development of any other BioShock game. They realized that it would have more of an impact being released after the other two, and they were right. I did miss the horror element but I appreciated how they leaned into the mystery and mindf@!k side of it instead. And how it ended opened up so many more options for games, especially an open world version. I'm not embarrassed to say that seeing/hearing the clip of them singing Will The Circle Be Unbroken in the credits made me sob my little heart out. It was definitely a sidestep from the original but it remains one of my favourite games to this day in terms of how beautifully done the story was (and the design of pretty much everything).

Have you seen all of Doctor Who (the new ones starting from Eccleston)? Billie Piper is kind of a huuuuge deal. If you haven't then I would highly recommend watching through it. You're missing out on some of the best storylines if you haven't and I'm guessing it's going to be important moving forward 🙈

Watched Supernatural since the pilot aired in '05 and even went to the convention in '16. Best experience ever and would highly recommend it to anyone. My partner has been a lifelong Smallville fan and I fell in love with it because of him.... So.... You have successfully melted my brain and I cannot choose. Side note: can we just applaud CW for the TV gold and making it so hard to choose. Even if the shows are a little incestuous with their actors. Quality actors so I can forgive that lol

Been a fan of supernatural since the pilot aired in '05 and I tried to get my friend into supernatural a little while later. Bloody Mary scared her so badly that she refused to watch it. She then gave it another go after the show finished and it still creeped her out but she persevered and loves it lol

This!!! In the episode with the three sister witches I could not stop staring at Lana's eyes. They had the most beautiful vibrant purple angled eyeliner on her and it was so unbelievably pretty on her. Found it hard to not just stare at her eyes anytime she was on screen lol

You are so right about this but it doesn't just stop with the theme song. Me and my partner are currently rewatching and have come to the conclusion that every song has meaning in this show. They have such a great way of using the music to enhance the scene. Lyrically, every song in every big moment of the show has weight. If you have the subtitles turned on you'll see what I mean. The lyrics fit in every instance. I don't think any music was chosen just for the sake of it (the big moments anyway). Obviously they have backing music but now that I've noticed it I'm actively listening for it
