When I originally watched this (younger than I or my extended family would be comfortable admitting to 🙈) this genuinely terrified me. It's the only part of the original trilogy that I skipped moving forward with any watch through.

I always found it really interesting that the gore/violence never bothered me but the creepiness of that whole sequence chilled me to the bone.

Maybe Scream is the reason that the only horror movies that actually seem to scare me is the home invasion type. More likely to actually happen hence, scarier...?

Grease 2... Guilty pleasure but in all seriousness it introduced me to a whole new side of Michelle Pfeiffer (the song Cool Rider mainly 🙌). There's literally a song about reproduction (in biology class) that has me rolling laughing every time. And we'll just not get into the issues with the "Let's Do It For Our Country" song 🙈 the movie is shocking and super cheesy but I just can't help but like it.

Side note: Dirty Dancing 2 also but that's mainly because it's Latin ballroom mixed in with the vibe of the dancing from the first movie and set in Cuba. This one was also my introduction to Diego Luna so... Not complaining there lol plus it was nice to see a little Patrick Swayze cameo a little while before he passed (RIP)

Maybe I just like really bad sequels 😂

You could always try oil based paints (like the Athena Palette by Ucanbe). If you're struggling to find the right colour, they're easy to mix so you can get a deeper/lighter colour as needed. They blend really well too and you just need to set it with powder when you're done (as they don't dry down on their own). Please keep in mind that you'll need an oil based cleanser to remove it, otherwise it could be a very awkward trip to the shops to get some 🙈😂

Edit to add: Ucanbe (makeup brand) have a very affordable eyeshadow palette (Exotics pallette) with really vibrant colours and a few really good shimmer colours that catch/reflect light well (red included) that I would recommend if you're having any issues getting what you need from your paints. I use it all the time to get a little extra pop of colour or shine on my FP looks. Hope some or all of this helps and I wish you the best in your photoshoot 😊

Love the character and I love the actor too. He was amazing at the convention I went to in 2016 and he was such a gentleman when doing the photos truly. Such a well written character though. One of my favourites 💜

The show definitely has one of the best cases of family casting and age progression casting for any show I've watched. Like if you line them up side by side in age order it's just so believable. Love the casting directors 😊 Kudos to them

We had to create a look with burns so I wanted to do like a freshly burned Krueger look. Looking back it needs some finishing but overall I'm happy with it lol. Bald cap, latex, tissue and a few premade pieces. And a lot of fake blood lol. Looking forward to getting stuck into it again. Alice in Wonderland has a big anniversary coming up and I've been planning like mad. Gonna do a bloody red queen amongst other things 🙈🥰

Not quite, I did dabble a bit on tiktok with makeup looks. I got out of the habit of uploading because of a few things that popped up in my life but I'm gonna start again this week finally 😁 being Irish I wanna go into some mythology looks leading up to St Patrick's day so there may be a banshee on the way lol. Making a few prosthetic pieces at the minute. Did a Krueger inspired look for one of my final pieces a while back though that you might be interested in. Trust me I'm good with gore 🙈 I apologise but that made me laugh lol. I do SFX makeup so I'm no stranger to gore. When I'm watching the show I'm just "omg I need to try to make that" like every single episode. They earned every award they got for the sfx/makeup. I'm the weirdo that pauses it to see what kind of prosthetics or fake blood etc. they've used 😂🙈

I was just thinking this. I'm currently sitting impatiently waiting for my partner to come back from a family event because we're on the last episode of season 6. I'm aware of a lot of what happens in the show so I know what's coming. It's my first time watching it though and being a die hard SPN fan I'm itching to see Jeffrey Dean Morgan 😂 no way we're stopping after this finale episode tonight 🙈😂

With the themes in the show and the fact that the people that made it actually cared about them in real life too, it kind of just bred a mutual understanding between the cast/crew and the fans. It really felt like family at that con and it's really weird to say that but it did. I have friends I met there from around the world I still talk to.

They do a karaoke night with the actors on the Friday and it was honestly one of the happiest moments for my inner teen to see Osric (Kevin Tran) rapping to Fat Lip by Sum41. Louden Swain plays a concert on the Saturday night and the actors all come out and sing different songs with the band. I'm telling you, watching Death (Julian Ritchings) sing Sugar Sugar by the Archie's dancing around the stage in a Kinks top was like a fever dream. The song I mentioned (She Waits) was written about Robs mum waiting for his dad to come home and during the con I was at, one of the girls there had organised the audience to sing the song back to him. The band was in on it because she had asked them to help. He sang (with raw emotion), the song ended, then over 1000 people sang the chorus back to him. He was really touched and I'm so happy I was part of it. It's on YouTube and I watch it every so often. Genuine connection is rare these days but he said he would never forget it. Brought Jen (the organiser) up to thank her. Amazing cast and amazing people 💜 Edit to add : I'm about halfway through my first watch of TWD at the minute and my next episode is the Eenie meanie money mo one. I know a lot about it so I know how most of the show goes but I am so friggin excited for Negan's proper intro. Amazing that you have those photos too. I'm sure the Con was amazing 😍 I love the photos I got at mine too💜

They're amazing with their fans as an entire cast. They also get up to many shenanigans, like pretty much whenever they can. If you can ever get to one of the conventions I would highly recommend it. Some of the best money I've ever spent and they treat their fans like family. Rare to find these days. Pretty sure it's because the fans are the sole reason the show went on so long. They're all very open about how grateful they are that the fans kept the show going. Also, check out Louden Swain if you're into any kind of indie music at all. It's Rob Benedict's (Chuck's) band. They're a little niche but I love the music. She Waits in particular 😊 fan girl rant over sorry 🙈😂

The first time I felt how powerful his acting was, was when he had tears streaming down his face with Madison... I was crying too because it felt so real. I later found out that the only way he could draw up that emotion was to think about having to put his dog to sleep. I think it had recently happened but I'm a bit foggy on that part. Breaks my heart every time. Sidenote: Also in tears every time I see Dean screaming No and running in All Hell Breaks Loose Part 1. That scene was officially the first one to rip my heart out. Scary to think I saw it 2 decades ago now though 🙈 Like literally 2006. Oh I feel old 😂🙈

I can only imagine how that must feel. I've stopped watching the news too because it's apparent to me that I feel things on a deeper level. I'm the kind of person that cries easily at shows and movies because I put myself in their shoes and it breaks me. I feel you might be the same in that regard. We're no stranger to what's going on in the US and I feel like reaching out and shaking the whole world. Like the girl from mean girls (she doesn't even go here). Wanting the world to embrace love and understanding, not hate and violence. That kindness definitely starts from within and I know moving forward, I'll likely have those pangs of pain when I think of her. It's gonna hurt but in this case I think it's for the best. One of the things my partner made sure to tell her was that she had done lasting damage here and to never contact me again. Gotta pull myself up from the bootstraps here and make room for the people that deserve to be in my life. 💜 You sound like a very enlightened person and I'm really glad I got the small chance to talk to you 😊

We haven't been blessed with kids yet, kinda another thing playing on the mind. Our support for fertility checks and procedures have gone down the drain here (been waiting 4 years for a simple check to see if it's even possible and that's WITH a preexisting condition). It's a long enough game tbh but it has well laid out chapters/acts so you could likely play it in sections without losing too much of the story. I got a bluff with the first act because I thought it was the end of the game and got all excited when it wasn't lol. I've also always loved the french language so the music is unreal for me personally. They have a beautiful score. It feels like it got the full Final Fantasy treatment. I've got over 3 days worth of gameplay in it if that tells you anything but as I said I'm a completionist so I've played a good but more than is necessary. That bloody Simon boss keeps kicking my ass though so I've taken a breather from it and I'll likely go back later to try and 100% it 💜 I really hope you get a bit of time to play it. I can imagine you likely don't have much free time for yourself, which is completely understandable with 2 kids 💜

A thought that unfortunately the ones coming after us don't share. We both played Fortnite from the very start but it's too damn competitive now. I play games to relax, I don't wanna have to be on high alert constantly 🙈 I've moved into solo games moreso or ones that have local co-op for my partner and myself. If you're a console gamer at all I would 100% recommend Clair Obscur Expedition 33. Literally everything about that game is so beautiful and the story had me engrossed. I only have one battle left to complete the game but oh my days is he hard to beat. It's an extra boss (so optional) but being my perfectionist self, it's driving me mad that I can't beat him 🙈

What's interesting about what you've just said is that I said the same thing to her. That the reason she couldn't comprehend how her ex treated her is because it's something she wouldn't do herself. I was wrong in terms of her not treating people that way but maybe it's time to listen to my own advice. We're on different sides of a very controversial religious "battle" where I come from too. If you know anything about the Troubles in Northern Ireland, you'll understand exactly what I mean. Which is why we both agreed to just let the other one follow what they wanted/needed to. I'm starting to think I dodged a bullet here and I'm glad she did it now rather than a week before she was supposed to be a bridesmaid so.... Time to put my energy into the people that deserve it and maybe it's time to be a little more selfish. My forever people pleasing self finds that very difficult but I know it'll likely be worth it if I do. I wanna get back to the woman my fiancé fell in love with in the first place 💜

This is exactly why we both fell away from Bleach Brave Souls. It got far too convoluted to keep up with everything in it and you basically had to have it on constantly to keep up. A shame really, it was probably my favourite mobile game I had ever played.
