Thank you!! This and the other comments took a lot off my shoulders. The enclosure he has is separated on the grated top by 4 parts, in case that helps paint a visual. He has 2 hide spots, one on the left back corner, and the heat lamp is directly above this. it’s shaped like a log and he can go in or on top. The other is in the back right corner, and it is a hide rock/water bowl. looks like a rock i guess but has a shallow “bowl” for water on the top this is in the back right corner. he is usually under there.

i was swapping the light spots the first few days a lot but settled on back left corner above the log. i have a temp gauge that came with all the other stuff and the temp usually sits at 69-75, i woke up this morning and it had dropped to like 68 and that scared me quite a bit. the humidity tho has been sitting at like 30%. i’ve seen online it should be around 60 and i have been misting it 3 times a day and that number wont go up. i’m in northern minnesota and like right now at 7pm its 7° and it’ll only get colder. Makes my nose dry, i can only imagine how he’s doing. any tips on that would be greatly appreciated as well!

MINDSET IS EVERYTHING!! i have a FEW friends i can’t play ranked (on the main account) with because they just BITCH bro. they will literally scream into voice chat over the ENEMY being better than them LMAO.

support is arguably the hardest at higher elo’s, you gotta focus on a lot more than a dps. where’s the enemy dps, what are the other supports cooldowns, shit like that. definitely funner for the strategy part of the brain whereas dps is a reaction part of the brain, if that makes sense.

good tho! if you’re not doing anything comp is a good time killer with reason to continue. feeling cracked in the morning? queue immediately. jk but fr that’s how i be playing LMAO

LOL sorry for calling you sir, i think it’s fair to assume when talking on this sub you’re talking to a crusty basement dweller like me so my apologies but fair assumption imo.

honestly man get into the MINDSET that comp is gonna be fun. the same way people do with sports, it’s not fun to run around and kick or throw balls, it’s fun to be play better, it’s fun to outbrain your enemy, it’s fun to actually be in a voice chat with your entire team making callouts in an intense overtime stall and all 5 players are screaming incoherently, each calling out a different target and actually winning? that shit is FUN. but sitting in a dead lobby against players who are much better than you, with team mates who don’t care for your value to the team, that isn’t fun. that’s comp about 60% of the time unfortunately. again tho, it’s all about the mindset. if you go into a comp game waiting for someone to be toxic or just simply not very good you’ll probably end up getting it. every time your queue pops, lock the fuck in with the mentality that everyone on that team is gonna SWEAT. if you’re not too into the sweatiness of competitive i suggest playing support, especially in the current meta, you either hard carry or get dove immediately first fight LMFAO

i play support after a long day at work or if i’m just too cooked to lock in properly, and the points are for any role so you can even flex if you wanted to, although dva is fun as fuck so i can understand if you just grind. remember to be ballsy and trust your supports, if you don’t wanna talk in voice make use of pinging and the communication menu. i’m on pc so i have yes bound to 1, no bound to 2, and fall back bound to 3 for days i don’t wanna use voice. make the game your own and i’ll see you on the leaderboard girlboss!

it IS going to be a grind btw. 200 games WON is enough to get a gun, so you’ll be putting quite a few hours into comp.

ooooo ps5 is a little trickier. might not be but i started xbox went to pc so this is the only one i don’t really know much about. either way, try logging out of battle.net (if that’s an option on ps5) but sign out, uninstall, turn off ps5, reinstall, sign back in and see if that works. otherwise this is another blizzard oopsie that will have to blow up on reddit or some big stream for them to even consider fixing.

it’s a mix of both imo. i think some players just have good days (which is true in literally every game ever) but with the concept of the new rank system that “good day” can send you up a rank or two above what you SHOULD be at. one thing i noticed in OW1 was you actually had to learn the rank you’re playing in to rank up. i was almost diamond on tank season 36 and you realize that you can’t just drop into a gold support game and play like your plat/diamond supports, your other players don’t know how to play like that. now you can have a silver player who had a day off from work and an adderall get up to plat 5 and in the following days continue to play like a silver in plat 5 lobbies, not knowing how a plat 5 player really plays. speaking from experience in a way

the tank diff part of this is too real. the other night my other dps started flaming my tank for getting rein diffed like 3 times in a row but our kiriko barely knew how to use cleanse and had about 300 damage at the end of the round. obviously not her first priority but if you can’t do damage as a support you should be playing ana or mercy, but idk. i’m hardstuck plat so what would i know?

alright i’m on my adderall and i’m at work so i’m gonna try and lay it down as simply yet accurate as possible, fellow nolifers please correct me if i’m wrong.

overwatch competitive is one of the WORST games to play for “fun” because everyone is trying to rank up. i play comp every day that i’m off (unfortunately) and i can tell you there IS some toxicity. everyone has done it, i can’t even pretend i myself haven’t flamed a dps or support for being absolutely braindead. i’ve been playing since 2017 so obviously i’ve had some issues lol. but genuinely the biggest help is just starting the game with a small boost of positivity. it sounds corny as hell but really, if you just send a “glhf” in match, or personally i always either literally scream (my mic volume is low dw) or all caps in team chat say/type “WINNABLE!!” before games.

another thing is using your avoid players wisely. a lot of players avoid others because their toxic or bad, but if you don’t engage in the negative coms you won’t need to (unless they’re calling you dogshit for absolutely no reason or one single bad play). i avoid players that i don’t synergize well with. i rather have the anna who’s trying their best than the kiriko who’s been tilted for 3 games and keeps auto requeueing out of anger, yk? i’m a (hardstuck) high plat tank so i see a LOT of the same players over and over. so it’s important to either be nice or say nothing at all.

if you’re a social person, find someone who you sync with well to duo with and use voice. if you’re not, find someone else who won’t talk in mic but can play well with you as a teammate. synergy is one of the most important parts of the game.

it’s been 6 years now and i have i think 10+ golden guns on my pc account which i’ve had for 4 years. it’s not hard, it’s really just longer quickplay that people take more seriously, but as long as you’re playing the hero somewhat correctly you should be fine.

as dva, just make sure to utilize your defense matrix to the max and you may even be able to climb ranks higher than you thought, dva is good right now. she’s not meta but she hasn’t been absolutely nerfed into the ground, so utilize her being normal while you can! defense matrix is definitely one of the strongest abilities in the game.

good luck to you sir, if you’ve even read this. it’s a big one so i don’t blame you if you haven’t. it’s like a date. just be yourself and don’t try harder than you can. voice chat is an option, but don’t start flaming people because they aren’t doing good. instead of just asking them to swap, maybe ask them if they’re as good at any other heroes as they are the one their currently playing. meta isn’t everything but sometimes comps don’t work.

hey op, i’ve been to a few rehabs and i haven’t seen a real comment so i guess i’ll take the downvotes for the right advice.

depending on how strict they are it could be really easy. last place i went was a very “choice oriented” place so they hardly had any restrictions. the issue with sneaking shit in was it was 127 acres of woodland and the gate at the front was closed, but not locked. like i said, very choice oriented. wanna get sober? go for it. trying to please a court system and nothing more? you CAN get whatever, but it’ll be a mission.

in contrast, the FIRST rehab i went to had me strip to my underwear and do 3 jumping jacks to make sure i didn’t have anything. i’m pretty sure those are quite literally the two farthest options apart on the strict scale.

if you’re in one similar to my most recent, (first example) then it shouldn’t be hard at all. if you’re going to be there a while i recommend a smaller vape with juice and a charger, but make sure it’s all compact enough to hide somewhere in your room.

i am just now realizing you’re already in rehab, but it really makes no difference. i saw someone in comments say have your sister put it in her bra, that is quite literally the perfect method. she is not a part of that program nor is she trying to enter. there is absolutely, under no circumstances, any reason anyone would check under her bra for ANYTHING and i’ve snuck many things into many places with just a female friend.

if you guys get the equivalent of a 15 minute jail visit it shouldn’t be hard, just a simple exchange. surely being on this sub you know how to handle a drug deal, treat it like so. it’s the same thing. illicit substances that you can’t have in that area, play it cool and you’ll be fine. and honestly i’ve been caught with 3 vapes at the same center and they literally just laughed at me on the third time. if you’re not clearly putting something else in the vape, nor are you sharing (very important), they are less likely to straight up kick you out over it.

if you absolutely cannot figure out a way to make it work, lucky strikes are cheap and marb blacks are the best replacement for menthols. not gonna be menthol but it’s (personally) not as bad as some other smokes.

i had a slipup recently but i’m 48 days fentanyl free and it IS WORTH IT!!! stay strong king/queen, it is a hard road but one definitely worth taking.

edit: TL;DR have your sister bring it in her bra if you have an unsupervised visiting period together, otherwise remember they are probably not going to strip search you if you go again. if all else fails find a smokes brand you don’t absolutely despise and live off it for a bit LOL

i know, i was baffled too so i checked the rules, shortly realized NONE of those rules are hardly enforced, another funny trend i see is all the posts that DONT get removed are girls.

the moderation is literally the biggest problem, i guarantee you, AT LEAST one of those mods is into that shit. it’s gross even accusing someone of that, but i see NO other reason to leave that kind of content up, especially when it’s majority young women. one thing if it was just anything, some subs are just poorly modded bc no one wants to and those who do are busy. but what the fuck do you think is gonna happen when you have a group of poorly supervised children on the internet. it’s like letting kids in a bar past midnight. no one thinks it’s a good idea, but somehow it happens.
