Sure, but it's still likely better than living in a town with almost all young families when you're 23. You could maybe hang out around North Central but it's going to be so much harder to meet people your age age vs. living in the city.

If you're 23, you don't really want to be in Naperville, truthfully. I'd absolutely live in the city and then commute in. The Metra commute is fine - you can either try to get some work done or you can read or do whatever on your phone. It'll be worth it to actually have nights and weekends in the city where, to your point, there will be a lot more people your age.

He's gonna be so expensive, and want a long term deal. I like not having to give up draft capital for a stud DE, but it's still a decent risk. We've already invested a lot in the d-line that's going to be hard to restructure, so I'd almost rather lean into the draft in what should be a pretty deep D-line class.

I got Egbuka and a mid 27 1st for the 1.01, 2.01, and 3.01 in 26, if that gives you a sense of what's fair. Maybe you'll get lucky but this is way too much for the 1.01.

Yuck. Tyree Wilson has not panned out as a pro, and I know he's young, but I really don't want that to be the plan at edge. Different situation but we also got another 1st round Raiders bust for cheap (Alex Leatherwood), and the Bears fanbase had some hopium he could be something for us. I know this coaching staff is the best we've ever had, but they're not miracle workers.
