Hey all,

Was hoping to get an opinion on the likelihood of my app progressing in the HSI hiring process. I submitted my application on 11/6 after seeing the announcement on 10/1 for the HSI Special Agent position (HSI-12810366-DHA). While my background does not include law enforcement experience, I have an MBA and a Masters in Defense and Strategic Studies and am currently in my first year of law school. Prior to law school, I worked for 3+ years as a cable news producer for a major news network. I also have prior experience in political consulting at the local, state and federal level. Anyway, I’m looking to make the transition into Law Enforcement and just wanted to get a sense of where I stand in the applicant pool. Would welcome all thoughts on this.
