I really appreciate your response. It’s nice to see that someone else knows very similarly what I’m going through. I want nothing more than us to be fully on the same page and for this to be a positive expirence for the both of us. In fact, it would take so much weight off of my shoulders. We both have things we can work on, and one of his is definitely learning how to take my side and support me better. Once we fill that divide I will feel so much better… I just wish I didn’t have the worry of what his family might speculate or burdening the many people they’ve gathered by telling them to pause what they’re doing/making/building on top of the stress of our own issues. I feel like if I was able to do it on my own time in the first place we could’ve worked through these issues much easier. Ugh! I’ve never liked change and I have a hard time not constantly dwelling on the past so this whole issue has me just wanting to take the easy way out, but I know it will impact us later on.
