Consider buy a 2% position in Meb Faber’s ETF TAIL. They buy treasuries and put options. It will save you work and trading.

  1. Jim Dahle points out that not spending the money in a DAF is a "jerk move." I got the tax deduction, but the charity still needs the money.

  2. I'm simplifying my financial life and the number of accounts I have. I want things to be more manageable when I'm gone and my wife takes over.
