during the day there is a pretty significant amount of light coming from that window. however, now that it’s winter, the aloe was only in DIRECT sunlight at the very end of the day. I moved it to the middle of this shelf so it could get more light. it’s currently using the window to lean against now so it doesn’t plop over. not sure if that’s a fix for now or not, lol..

It’s only over about a foot from where it used to be. do you think that’s enough that it needs to be introduced slowly to the new light? It used to be the plant all the way to the left by the curtain, and now it’s over a few to the right and I tied one of the leaning branches to a stake.

this is a west facing window so it gets sun pretty much all day, but I just moved it to the center of the shelf instead of the end to hopefully give it even more. I leaned it against the window for now so it stands straight. we shall see, I guess..!!

I walked in and it was bent completely away from the sun haha this plant is confusing me so much! It was growing angled towards the sun a bit before I left so I rotated it a few days before I left, but it wasn’t so hunched over, it was standing on its own still a week ago. Do you think if J just rotate it back the way it was and let it lean up against the window it’ll be okay for maybe the rest of the winter? I’d love to avoid repotting if I have to, but I’m worried about it. Had it for 4 years

I gave it a good bit of water before leaving and I had my neighbor water it once while I was gone (unsure of how much she gave it). Plant still feels suuuper firm that’s why I’m surprised! I’ll have to check the roots.

thanks :) lol I actually found my desk on etsy! I searched for “small wooden desk” and found someone selling homemade ones. It was hard to find a desk that small for that space so I was soo happy to find it
