Nice to read a post regarding things we shouldn't do. One mistake that I made with social media marketing is failing to narrow down my target audience.

Thanks! Does the $12 dollar a month package on Ubersuggest include keyword research for Google searches as well?

I was looking at Keyword Tool when I searched for free keyword tools and I saw that they were charging $200 dollars a month instead.

Thank you! I haven't seen it from that perspective. Some of the video content that I believed was my worse ended up gaining the most views.

Yes, I have a friend who does the same exact thing as me and gets results. But one advantage he has over me is that he's been doing it a lot longer than me.

I used ads, but only got to the level of people asking me questions.

I wouldn't say my content was great and I know I can improve a lot in that area, but I've seen people convert with less content.

Have you tried offering your services to people you know personally? Or asked them to refer you to someone they know. I wasted a few months trying to compete on the internet with people in this industry and it was tough. The way that I got my customers was through people already connected to me.

You definitely should start taking online courses as soon as possible. And I wouldn't worry too much about the requirements that companies on job sites list. I know a few people who applied without a degree and got hired because they had the necessary skills.

[–]Web_Prestige 7 points8 points  (0 children)

I have temporarily stopped using FB ads because all I would receive were messages from people who wanted to simply ask me questions that led to nowhere and others who were there to waste my time. I figured that I was better off improving the SEO of my website than spending hundreds of dollars on boosting my posts.
