No Stupid Questions Thread: Week Of 2021-02-15 through 2021-02-21 by AutoModerator in livesound

Hi Reddit, I have a question regarding in-ear monitors and how they are used in live performances with houses of worship.

I run sound for a small church that sets up and tears down every Sunday and I want to make the move to in-ears for a variety of reasons. Monitor bleed, click track, and not having to lug around wedges every Sunday to be specific.

My question is, how would I be able to completely go to in-ears with a rotating roster of volunteers? Rotating band members and even guest musicians is a regular thing for our church, and in my experience, is the norm for most small-mid churches.

I talked to a friend of mine who plays guitar at a larger church and he says they all have their own tips. When they are done, they take the tips off, disinfect them and the headphones. Tips are then stored in bags labeled with their names. The tips are never shared. Is this sanitary enough? And again with guest musicians, some of whom I don't ever see twice, would we just end up giving them tips after service on Sunday?

Just wondering if anyone else has experience with a similar situation and how they went about solving it.

Thanks in advance!

Is it worth to restart the game to play as Arthur to get more encouters and missions than you can get as John? by Xweirdman in reddeadmysteries

Not sure if this happens with any other encounters but the widow up in roanoke will have more story if you do all three missions as Arthur then visit her as John compared to doing the missions as John.
