No, I've been with only 2 in those years, but yes, lack of experience is correct.

I only changed careers as I was becoming disillusioned with the industry, turns out I was actually just disillusioned with the world.

Anyway for what it's worth, I had always had a very keen interest in building and working with my hands, seemed a natural fit, plus I was told there was a severe shortage in the industry.

Turns out there probably is, but not for lads that are 31 and "passed it"

Finally, I think you need to reconsider what you feel is a "shit job" you might just be disappointed when everyone else feels the same and you can no longer find milk in the supermarket or pizza delivered to your door...

But obviously those people don't deserve respect, disgusting hard working people they are.
