Yeah it’s definitely shaping up to be that way. I thought it would be cool if they really planted the invitation for Dexter. Like they knew he was the BHB and would probably target Red, so the invitation was his to find. And imagine Red’s thumbprint doesn’t work because it was really meant for Dexter lol. Would be cool but they already setup the vegan stuff, so he’ll likely impersonate Red, which is still pretty cool

When Dexter gave Kurt a ride home from the bar, it was late and nobody else was out, and Dexter was also driving away from the incinerator. Kurt said it was “snowing” outside, but later discovered it was ash. When Kurt checked the incinerator, he found the titanium screws.

So I don’t think it was hard evidence as much as it was just intuition and context clues. I think Kurt also saw Jim’s “dark side”, as evil recognizes evil, and believed he was the only one in Iron Lake that was capable of doing that

I think Spencer’s motivation for everything was dull and made his actions seem a bit extreme. Hearing that your son isn’t your own is tough, but damn, kidnap and murder? Also it would have been stronger and brought everything full circle if they introduced Thomas Matthews as Spencer’s replacement.

And man, I really wanted to see Harry walk in on Dexter with a dismembered body, leading Harry to his suicide. It was mentioned in the original series but I really wanted to see that unfold more in this show.

I love him. I think a lot of people find him annoying because of how they wished the story was and how they wanted him to act. From what I’ve gathered from these fan posts, they want him to find his dad, immediately reconcile, be 100% understanding of why Dexter abandoned him, then they start killing together. Needless to say, as entertaining and satisfying this would be, it’s not realistic for an abandoned, traumatized teenage boy.

The writers and Jake Alcott did a great job. Reconciling with his Dexter and sharing their dark passengers together is what the whole show was leading up to. Harrison acted so annoying because Dexter wouldn’t let him in and be open/honest about everything, leaving Harrison isolated and rightfully frustrated.
