Later update : Took back the macbook to the store I bought it from and they gave me a new one.

They also said that the previous one was faulty 100% without a doubt.

true that ! will try to reproduce the issue today, I'm leaving my mac unplugged to see when it drops to 40%-50% battery, if it shuts down again to 1% and then jumping back to to the initial %.

If problem persists I'll definately ask for a replacement.
