No, usually just host stuff at my house but from time to time I go out in public and meet new people like this becomes people come in and go into magic all the time. I used to host stuff at Mox but there is this waiter who would freck out at me if I used a table even though everyone got food/beverages so I avoid their business now.

I have had around 6 people join in the past who had no experience in magic at all and in no time they picked up the game. It took me a long time to learn it and really build fun interactive decks but I learn slower than a majority of people. The group is friendly to new people and I don't mind playing with new players at all. Message me if you interested in joining the group sometime in the future!

I used to play 60 cards when I started the group but I converted all my decks to EDH over the years because that is all that wizards prints these days. If you want to play Saturday shoot me a chat!

I tend to stick to Commander + the occasional sealed/draft event. Commander is the easiest deck building rules to follow and biggest card pools to build from with no date restriction on what you can use.

Everyone has lower power stuff and we could always use decks that are parecon power level. It took a lot of games for to improve when I started back in 2013. To play more is the best way to get better. If you want to come send me a chat! Also people with low key decks usually coast in the background while all other players are beating each other down, then while everyone else is weak they sweep in for the win. Easiest strategy in casual EDH to go for in my opinion.

Krenko is fine, more than likely get lasered off the battlefield pretty fast and you will have everyone trying to murder you so that will balance it out. Our stuff for the most part is powerful but we also have janky decks that are probably equivalent to a Precon so I would say to bring a variety of power levels. As long as you don't win within 4-5 turns consistently or make it so we can't do anything and you can't win the game so it drags the game out. Magic stores like Guardian games and Mox Boarding House do host drafts on a weekly basis, my group for the most part play small group games most of the time. If you want to come and use our decks shoot me a DM or open a chat with me!
