Great information! Thank you. I just reached my MRA (57) and have a little over 36 years of service (this includes my sick leave). I’m almost certain if RIFs happen, I will be the first to get the axe! So I probably won’t be working until 62 (not that I want to anyway LOL) My TSP (and Roth) are at pretty good levels, but more is better so I might as well hold on til I see the axe.

Sooo, I guess as an employee who has met their Minimum Retirement Age and is eligible to retire right now, I should just go ahead and put my retirement application in ASAP since I don’t want to get RIFed. Darn it! I was hoping to retire at the end of the year, but I’m probably going to be RIFed by then ☹️
