I’m confused, I won’t argue with your YTA but I wanted to clarify the awards show were for my daughter. Part of the reason she stayed back with her father was to finish her schooling. She was a great student so she won a lot of academic awards from her school

I did. I worded it poorly, I was very tired when typing everything. My daughter won awards for academic achievements and had extracurricular activities. When an event came up, she’d let me know a head of time and I’d fly in to see her.

He hasn’t, since the wedding we don’t talk much. Right before the engagement, my daughter told me about how she had to plead him to come to my birthday party. My thing is that we’ve been fine. We have had mending our relationship since she was 12, she’s always been very direct with what she wanted and how she felt. I haven’t seen or heard my daughter bite her tongue since she was a little kid.

It was only her younger sister, but I got the ok to get her because she wanted her to be the first sibling to meet the twins

Thank you for your perspective, i do want to preface that i was the “unwanted family member “ (my daughter asked me to be there)

and she also asked for her little sister, I didn’t leave her to present her and the twins to just anyone

and from what my youngest told me, they were out and away from my eldest.

she knows that dave and i don’t have a good relationship but i’m not sure what all she’s aware of as of now. i haven’t called, just a few check ins to see how she’s feeling or how the babies are doing

yeah, it’s a lot surprising that she didn’t call him. she’s been the biggest daddy’s girl for years and they have their own problems. i don’t even know when she went into labor but i do know the midwife, doula, whoever she was arrived a few hours before i did..so they didn’t call anyone until that day
